How do I order a server?
Go to Order, pick London or New York, choose a plan and press Checkout. Pay with a card on the invoice page. Your server is created automatically once the payment clears.
I paid but my invoice still says pending
Confirmation usually takes 60 seconds and can take up to 5 minutes. Your server deploys on its own afterwards. If the invoice is still pending after 10 minutes, open a ticket and include the invoice number.
How much does it cost and what currency is it in?
Plans are $2.50 per GB of RAM per month. Prices are shown in USD. Your card is billed in Canadian dollars (CAD), so the amount on your card statement is higher than the USD price.
Which plan do I need?
As a rule of thumb, plugin servers need about 0.4 GB of RAM per player online, and modpacks need more. Small groups on Vanilla or Paper do well on 4 GB. Communities with claims and economy plugins usually want 8 GB or more.
How do I upgrade my server?
Open Services, pick your server and press Upgrade. Your world and files stay where they are, and the price is prorated.
Where do I manage my server?
Use the game panel at panel.cherryhosting.xyz. You can start and stop the server, edit files, install plugins from Modrinth and switch software versions there.
Which locations do you have?
London and New York. The Order page always shows what is in stock right now.
Voice chat is not working
Voice chat mods need a UDP port that is open to players. Open a ticket or message us on Discord with your server address and we will set the right port.
How do I cancel or ask for a refund?
You can cancel a service from its page under Services. Refunds and payment disputes are handled by staff, so open a ticket or message us on Discord.
How do I reach a person?
Open a ticket and we usually reply within a few hours. Replies also arrive by email. You can also message us on Discord.
